Contracts and Finance Administrator Vacancy in Kent

Location: IPS International: Rochester, Kent
Salary Circa: £17,500 – £19,000 dependant on experience
Role: Full-Time / Permanent

IPS International are looking to recruit a Contracts and Finance Administrator for the Contracts & Compliance Department at the Rochester based centre, reporting to the Contracts and Compliance Section Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of contracts and finance in an educational setting, with experience of working with data and finance information and reporting software and systems.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Issue and tracking of employer contracts for apprenticeship training
  • Tracking of financial payments for apprenticeship training
  • Debt chasing for unpaid invoices for apprenticeship training
  • Issue, eligibility checking and tracking of government incentive payments for apprenticeship training
  • Updating using bespoke software
  • Liaising with department managers, teams and employers
  • Producing reports for Contract Management Meetings
  • General administration duties

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • Strong and demonstrable experience of administrative processes
  • Good understanding of financial processes
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and self-motivated
  • Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office especially Excel Software
  • Good levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Knowledge about Apprenticeships
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Training and Education
  • Good presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Sage
