IPS International Limited is a leading provider of training and consultancy operating across the UK. We deliver a wide range of training programmes at our centres in Rochester and Dover and on our clients’ premises.

IPS are also a specialist Apprenticeship training provider and IPS Apprenticeships is the strand of our company that focuses on Apprenticeship training and recruitment.

We are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager for the Contracts & Compliance Department. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Post 16 Education and Training funding rules and experience of contract management and compliance.

Responsibilities will include:

ESFA Funded Contracts

  • Management of internal audit processes
  • Management of department staff
  • Leading Administration Team
  • Supporting department functions to manage funding contracts
  • Supporting funding contract and compliance audits
  • Supporting bid writing and tender applications

Subcontractor Management

  • Management of subcontracted provision
  • Monitoring of subcontract provision against allocation
  • Quality monitoring and observation of subcontractor delivery
  • Conducting review meetings with subcontractor apprentices and employers
  • Managing subcontractor declarations and external assurance audits
  • Liaising with Business Development Department to oversee subcontractor employer engagement
  • Cross departmental working to ensure contractual compliance
  • Manage contract budget

Other IPS Responsibilities

  • Management of IPS corporate policies and processes as directed
  • Support quality improvement projects across the organisation

Key Requirements:

Essential

  • Excellent attention to detail at all times
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of data management and reporting
  • Good and demonstrable knowledge of contract management
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoys working as a team member
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge, skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office Software
  • Able to travel to subcontractor and employer premises as required

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship training and delivery
  • Experience of working with bespoke software systems
  • Experience of completing workplace health and safety risk assessments
