Macmillan Coffee Morning 2019
For the third consecutive year, we have been involved in raising money for Macmillan.
Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. Every penny raised means Macmillan can help more people with cancer to live life as fully as they can.
We held our 2019 Macmillan Coffee morning today, raising money for this worthwhile cause again. We may be a little early this year than the official 27th September date, but no one was complaining, as who doesn’t love cake on a Tuesday morning.
The event was held at our Rochester Training Centre, Northbank House with Staff and Apprentices in attendance, we had an amazing selection of cakes that were donated by the generous staff here at IPS. From homemade walnut cake, marble cake to baked brownies and chocolate cake, all went down very well at IPS and will be on sale for the rest of the week.
We want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who joined our coffee morning this week and for your continued help and support with this event. A big well done to all and we can’t wait to share the donations we have raised with this well deserving charity.
