Updates announced by the Education & Skills Funding Agency:

25% of Apprenticeship funding transfer allowance now visible in Employer’s Accounts
Levy-paying employers can now see their new 25% transfer allowance in their Apprenticeship Service Accounts, which became visible in Apprenticeship Service accounts after 24th April 2019.

Levy-payers can now transfer funds to any employer subject to the funding rules, including; employers in their local area, sector or Supply Chain and Charities. The funds can be used to pay for Apprenticeship Training and assessment for new or existing employees.

Frameworks withdrawal – July 2020
Removal of Frameworks is scheduled for 31st July 2020, all Apprenticeship Frameworks will be withdrawn, which means all new starts from 2020 will be enrolled onto the new employer led high-quality Apprenticeship Standards.

Employers have currently developed over 400 Apprenticeship Standards, which represented nearly 60 percent of all Apprenticeship starts reported in the first half of 2018 to 2019.
