IPS celebrated this year’s National Apprenticeship Week 2017 with a range of events, advice sessions and promotional spots. Events and campaigns took place up and down the country from the 6th – 10th March with training providers, colleges, employers and various other institutions celebrating the fantastic contribution apprentices have on our society.
We kicked off by attending the Bexley Apprenticeship Event on Monday, engaging with hundreds of young learners from the local area regarding their futures and the possibility of taking on apprenticeships.
We attended the Chatham Job Centre’s Apprenticeship Fair on Tuesday, talking to jobseekers about considering apprenticeships as a route back into the workplace.
IPS’s Managing Director Ramsay Cowan was a special guest on the Business Bunker Radio Show with Paul Andrews and Jules Serkin. Ramsay gave an insight into the work IPS does and the benefits for employers that work with us, as well as giving insight into upcoming apprenticeship reforms.

We were also grateful to be invited to an IAG session at the Street Soccer Foundation in Gillingham. IPS’s Jason Spencer and Alix Taylor met with a group of young people to introduce the Find an Apprenticeship website and help learners with registration on to the service.
